Second hand bookstore is a book selling system consisted in the official website of the Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). The services offered in this online system are to sell and buy second-hand books. Students would have a review on the list of second-hand books on the website and could make a purchase of any spotted books. Through this online second-hand book selling system, students of XMUM are exposed to an opportunity of purchasing cheaper reference books. It would also enable the students to gain some income by selling off the reference books which are not in used anymore.

  • The original price of that particular reference book is based on the price sold by the booksellers in XMUM.

  • The sold price of the second-hand book is based on its condition over the original price (refer to Table 3).

  • The sold price is not negotiable.

  • The book sold is not returnable.

  • The committees of second-hand bookstore reserved all the rights for explanation.

  • The decision of the committees on the condition of the books could not be revised.

  • The price of the second-hand bookstores is not negotiable.

  • The book sold to the buyer is not refundable.
